About This Item
- START FROM THE MID-TONE — The warm toned tan paper gives every drawing a natural middle value, letting you build deeper shadows with graphite or charcoal and pull bright highlights forward with white pencil. Ideal for value studies, portraits, figure drawing, illustration and everyday sketch practice.
- 85 LB / 130 GSM DRAWING PAPER — Each sketchbook includes 60 sheets of substantial 130 gsm toned drawing paper for sketching, shading, layering and blending with common dry media. The balanced paper weight gives pencils and charcoal a supportive drawing surface while keeping the 8x10 sketchbook practical for everyday use.
- MADE FOR LIGHT & DARK DRY MEDIA — Use the toned drawing paper with graphite pencils, charcoal, colored pencils, white pencils and white charcoal to create visible contrast directly on the page. The warm tan background works especially well for portrait shading, figure studies, character sketches and drawings that combine dark lines with bright highlights.
- TOP SPIRAL FOR A MORE OPEN WORK AREA — The top-bound spiral keeps the coil above your drawing hand instead of along the side of the page, creating a more open surface for both left- and right-handed artists. Flip pages easily during drawing class, studio practice, quick studies or everyday sketching.
- Travelers 8x10 SIZE WITH RIGID COVERS — The 8 x 10 inch format gives artists useful drawing space while staying compact enough for backpacks, desks and everyday practice. Rigid front and back covers help support and protect all 60 toned tan sheets during class, studio work, storage or travel. Best suited to dry media; test wet or alcohol-based tools before using them across a finished drawing.
